Announcement
1) The conference will cover all aspects of plasmonics, including near-field optics, surface-enhanced spectroscopy, chemical and biological sensing, waveguiding, metamaterials and more.
2) The conference will begin with registration and reception in the two hotels at 17:30 on April 7th, 2012. The scientific program begins in the morning of April 8 and ends in the afternoon of April 11. We anticipate 30 invited lectures (25+5min) and 30 contributed talks (12+3min). The poster session will be scheduled on the evening of April 9th. The maximum size of posters is 145cm (height) X 90cm (width).
3) Excursion to The Giant Panda Breeding Research Institute and Jinsha Site Musuem will be arranged on April 12th, 2012. Excursion to Leshan Buda will be arranged on April 13th, 2012.
4) A list of discounted hotels can be found on the Accommodation page. The conference secretary Ms. Chunmei Dong (dongchunmei@scu.edu.cn) can assist in booking a room.
5) Invited speakers are asked to provide posters with their slides (and stand by them during the poster session). Prizes will be awarded to the top five posters.
6) Two tutorials will be held in the evenings of April 7th and 10th, respectively. “Frontiers” means that speakers want to show their latest results. There must be no video or photography during the presentations.
